When Kent Smith Photography calls and asks you to help with their Teacher Appreciation, you don’t say no to Amanda and Sherri.
Then you ask, “What does this mean?”
Having known Amanda since her days in high school has made this photo shoot especially meaningful. I’ve been able to see her take her love of photography and give back to the community through it. Teaching gives you the opportunity to see your students realize their dreams and continue to connect with them after they graduate. I’ve been fortunate to have been an educator for Pickerington Local Schools since 2002.
Then you realize you haven’t had professional photos taken in over 20 years, going to your session can be intimidating. Kent Smith Photography and their staff made both my husband and I relaxed and at ease with everything from what we should wear, to the music being played during our session. Once we arrived, Amanda helped us narrow down our outfits and we were ready to go! Our session was fun, and filled with laughter. My husband said, “If I knew it was this fun and easy, we would have done this sooner!”
Coming in to select our photo book and wall portrait was the most difficult part because of all the amazing pictures Amanda has taken. She has been able to capture our personalities perfectly. Sherri’s eye for narrowing down which portraits to include helped make the process easier. My husband and I cannot wait to show our family and friends, as well as to bring our fur baby in for a pet friendly photo session.
