“My daughter, Paige knew her junior year that she wanted to be a senior model for Kent Smith Photography. She loved every minute of getting her hair and makeup done, and modeling during the various photo shoots. The staff always made us feel welcomed and special, she liked the center of attention she received. Amanda knew how to capture Paige’s personally in the photos. It was exactly the experience we both wanted for her senior pictures.

Because of her wonderful experience, Paige was able to convince her bother, Grant who was a senior at the time to get his pictures taken. This was no easy feat, he had basically refused to have them done anywhere by anyone. After Paige had a few sessions, she enthusiastically shared her experience with her brother. Week by week she wore him down of promises that it wouldn’t be painful at all. Finally he agreed. While I knew my daughter loved her experience, I will be the first to admit, I wasn’t sure if Grant would like the “attention” he was going to get. I could not have been more wrong-he loved it. They made Grant feel comfortable during the session. From the moment we walked into the studio to the final selection and ordering of pictures. He enjoyed having a private dressing room with his name on the door. Amanda knows how to make her clients comfortable, she offers suggestions when you’re not sure what to do, yet allows the you to be as expressive and creative as you want. There is no standard picture or look, she knows how to bring the individual’s personality into pictures. My children could not be more different, yet their sessions catered to each. Grant proudly shows off he senior pictures, often states uncharacteristically “I look good”, his Kent Smith pictures made him feel good about himself.
