Hello everyone! My name is Haley and I am a new KSP Influencers! I was a 2020 senior model here at Kent Smith Photography and am so excited to start this new journey as an Influencer! Something that I am super excited for is to get to know Harley better, another KSP Influencer, and to just gain more confidence in the studio. It takes me a little while to start smiling with confidence and to have fun when I have photo shoots. Amanda and everyone at the studio are always so helpful and allow me to be myself!
My style is very unique. I tend to wear very bright colored clothing that most people would not pair together. I pay attention to what is trending at the time and if I like it, then I will wear it, however my style has a very vintage and 90’s feel as I love wearing scrunchies, baggie jeans and bright clothes.
The clothes that I’ve worn for my shoots really show my personality and a lot of the clothes that I have worn are ones that I already owned. I decided I didn’t want to go out and buy clothing pieces specifically for these shoots because I wanted my outfits to really show who I was and my personality. Because I work at Buckle, that is where I got a lot of clothing for my shoots. Their clothes are fun and unique. A lot of my clothes are also from American Eagle and from small boutiques that I run across.
Something that you’ll notice that I wear a lot in my shoots are my rings. I’ve noticed that whenever I get nervous, I start turning and fiddling with them. It’s become a habit to wear them and they are like my signature accessory piece. When it comes to makeup, I myself cannot apply it very well, so the only time I really wear any is when someone else does it for me, that’s why I always get my makeup done for my shoots! I tend to go for a more natural face and I have freckles that pop out in the summer, so I get excited to show them off when I get the chance to.
My favorite part of hair and makeup for sessions is getting my hair done because of how it feels to get my hair played with. What I do with my hair all depends on what time I want to get up in the morning and what outfit I wear. I used to have super long hair and would love it when I curled it, but not I’m trying to grow it out again to get it back to how it was.
Fun Fact: I run cross country at my school and think it’s amazing how everyone works together the way we do. My dream photo shoot with Amanda is one with all my friends and everyone having fun with loud music playing, bright colors, and a whole bunch of smiles.
