  • Marketing:

    We use our clients in our studio marketing which includes everything from our social media to displays, website, photography exhibitions and competitions. We especially love to post your amazing images on our social media to show them off! Please list the social media you use and your user IDs. If you are not already following us we have two IG: kentsmith and noircollection_ksp and you can find us on Facebook at Kent Smith Photography and request to be in our Kent Smith Photography VIP group. If you prefer not to be used in our marketing please state that below.
  • Rescheduling Guidelines:

    One of the amazing things about our studio is that we are small and give our clients a custom experience like no other. We have one photographer and your session retainer fee reserves our time just for you. These retainers are not refundable, so if you find that you can’t make a session at the scheduled time, please reschedule at least 7 days prior to the session and 100% of your session fee will be applied to your account. If rescheduled within the 7 day window of your session but before your session day, 50% of your session retainer will be credited to your account. If you don’t show up on the day of your session, you will forfeit the entire session fee. Please notify us by email at outside of business hours or call the studio directly during normal business hours. Our normal business days are Monday through Thursday, 10am to 6pm.

    Weekends are the time we reserve to be with our own families, but we do occasionally schedule on weekends because we recognize that those days can be more convenient. If you need a weekend time we are happy to accommodate you, please talk with us, occasionally additional charges will apply.

    We know sometimes last minute changes are unavoidable, so we appreciate you understanding that we are a business and must operate efficiently. Please ask if you have any questions!
  • Digital Image Delivery:

    Your digital images will be delivered to you by email in a gallery within 5-7 weeks of your session date. The gallery you receive is linked to an excellent quality lab to order prints. We are confident that the prints you order will look exactly the way Amanda intended them to. Depending on the time of year you should receive them within a few days, they have an amazing turnaround time. If you prefer to print locally you are able to download the images and print wherever you like, but we cannot guarantee the color and print quality will provide the best representation of our images.

    The following information is what we need to tell you about the legal use of our images.

    Copyright and Licensing Notice:

    The images that are being provided to you are licensed copies to be used for any reasonable personal purposes, including but not limited to: printing, copying, emailing and web publishing. Your license does not include use that results in financial gain, including but not limited to: advertising, stock photography, print sale profits, or resale of any nature. Your purchase of the original files releases Kent Smith Photography from any liability due to loss or damage of the images, and also releases Kent Smith Photography from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image or photograph. The artistry of Kent Smith Photography images may not be altered, meaning retouched beyond what we provided on the final image provided to you, the use of filters or any other modification. Kent Smith Photography may revoke this license at any time and for any reason. Kent Smith Photography retains all copyrights to the images and derivative works thereof. By using any of these images, you are agreeing to the above terms.


  • Your digital session fee includes your time with our photographer, all image design, and the finished images from your session. The number of images will vary based on the amount of time that you booked. These sessions can be very fast paced, so please come prepared to change quickly to make the most of it. If it is important to you that you have indoor, outdoor and other specialty photography we recommend that you choose our traditional session or add on time to your digital session. These digital sessions are intended for clients who want great images, but also want a smaller investment. You will choose your preference of indoor or outdoor, the timing just doesn’t allow for both. You are welcome to schedule additional time if you would like. Please talk to one of our staff about that if you are interested.

    Within the gallery you receive, all digital images are fully retouched to remove blemishes, even out skin tones and whiten teeth. If there are other elements that you would like to have retouched please let us know and we can give you a quote for that. Please make sure your clothes and hair are as you wish for them to appear in your images. We recommend that you steam or press clothing and make sure shoes are clean!

    The images you will receive can be printed up to size 8x10. If you would like beautiful wall art for your home, we are happy to create that for you! We believe everyone should have wall portraits hanging in their home of the people they love. We carry the finest archival quality products available. We handcraft and frame our canvas and fine art prints here in our studio with attention to every detail. Our handcrafted Italian albums, acrylic wall art and gorgeous modern metal art are unrivaled. We have these on display and encourage you to touch and look them while you’re here for your session.

  • Our entire staff wants you to have a memorable experience with us and leave with thrilling portraits every time. So much so that we 100% guarantee your happiness with everything we do! If you find that something is not as you expected, please speak with Amanda or Sherri. Our staff spends a lot of time preparing for your session and we want you to be happy. If you have booked a session you aren’t able to use right now, have changed your mind, or need to adjust your order, we are happy to accommodate you and make those changes. Please keep in mind that we do not issue refunds but will keep a credit on your account for you to use at any time in the future. Refer to rescheduling timelines.

  • We are so proud of the amazing experiences and memories we provide to our clients -- you really are family to us! In appreciation for your raves to your friends and family, we offer referral bonuses. If a friend or family member of yours comes in for a session and portrait order we will give them a complimentary session and $150 credit toward their order. You will receive a $50 Visa card. There is no limit to the number of referrals, but the important thing to remember is that they must give us your name when they schedule their session or write it on this form that they will also receive prior to their session. No documentation is necessary other than that, but we will also give you referral cards when you place your order that you can have on hand.

  • After you submit your questionnaire, someone from our staff will contact you to schedule a consultation with our photographer so we can begin designing your session. Additionally, our personal stylist will reach out to you to talk with you about what to wear and help give you direction on that.
